Oneida Nation leader attends White House session
Ray Halbritter, the representative of the Oneida Nation of New York, attended a White House listening session for tribal leaders on Monday.

Halbritter said tribal leaders spoke about sovereignty, taxation, land claims and other issues. "We were pleased to have been asked to provide our input, and we were assured that the White House will engage in ongoing consultation," he said in a press release.

The White House held a session in the morning and another in the afternoon to hear from tribes.
