The Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe of South Dakota is part of a lawsuit against a public school district's new dress code.
The tribe and some parents say the dress code violates the constitutional rights of students. The parents say they can't afford the school uniform.
The lawsuit asks a federal judge to stop Cheyenne Eagle Butte Cooperative School Board from disciplining students for dress code violations.
