Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe pushed on finances
Members of the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe of Massachusetts want more information about their finances but tribal leaders say they have been more open than prior administrations.

Some members say they are no longer receiving monthly statements. They want to know how the tribe's money is being spent.

"We want answers to those questions," elder Norman Dias told The Cape Cod Times.

Chairman Cedric Cromwell, who was elected in February, told the paper the tribe has provided more information to its members than in the past.
