BIA fills law enforcement positions in Montana
The Bureau of Indian Affairs has hired police chiefs for the Crow Reservation and the Northern Cheyenne Reservation in Montana.

Willard Michael Cuny, 45, a member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe of South Dakota, will serve at Crow. He hopes to recruit more police officers on the reservation.

"I want to make it a safe place to live and work." Cuny told The BIllings Gazette.

Algin Young, 34, also Oglala Sioux, will serve at Northern Cheyenne. He also hopes to hire more officers and bring stability to the force.

Both positions were open for more than a year before they were filled.
