BIA official in Eastern Oklahoma placed on leave
Jeanette Hanna, the director of the Eastern Oklahoma region of the Bureau of Indian Affairs, has been placed on leave due to "an ongoing personnel matter," The Tulsa World Reports.

Hanna is a member of the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma. She was named to the post in May 2002

Robert Impson, a deputy from the BIA's Eastern region has been named acting regional director.
