Oglala woman pleads not guilty for boy's death
ha Vega, a member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe, pleaded not guilty in connection with the death of a toddler who was a member of the Omaha Tribe of Nebraska.

Vega, 34, is charged with felony manslaughter. She is accused of killing 20-month-old Nathaniel Saunsoci-Mitchell, who was in her foster care at the time.

The incident occurred in Lincoln, Nebraska. Vega and her family left the area after the boy's death. She was ultimately located in Pennsylvania.

Vega's trial is due to start July 23.
