Lawmakers meet over Haskell University leadership
Staffers for Sen. Pat Roberts (R-Kansas), Sen. Sam Brownback (R-Kansas) and Rep. Lynn Jenkins (R-Kansas) met with Bureau of Indian Education to discuss leadership issues at Haskell Indian Nations University, The Lawrence Journal-World reported.

Linda Sue Warner, a member of the Comanche Nation of Oklahoma, became president of Haskell in 2007. But she has been detailed away from the tribal college since September. All three top administrators at the school are there on an "acting" basis.

Roberts has raised concerns about the situation.
