Agua Caliente Band gets $1.8M grant for road work
The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians will use a $1.8 million stimulus grant for road work in California.

The tribe will pay for widening, realigning and other work on Bob Hope Drive in the city of Rancho Mirage. A memorandum of understanding is expected to be announced today, The Palm Springs Desert Sun reported.

The tribe received the money from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
