The Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community of Arizona will be home to the first Marriott hotel property in Indian Country.
The 156-room Courtyard by Marriott is scheduled to open in 2012. It will include 3,000 square feet of meeting space.
Salt River Devco, the tribe's economic development arm, is in charge of the project.
