The Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe of Minnesota expects to fire a police officer who faces criminal charges in state court.

Steven Hoberg, 49, is accused of making terroristic threats against officials in the city of Mora, where he worked up until January 26. Prosecutors say he posted threatening information on the Internet on February 16 and on February 26.

Rjay Brunkow, the tribe's solicitor general, wasn't sure when Hoberg started working for the tribe. But he said the officer will probably be dismissed.
