Convicted officials removed from Crow Creek Sioux election
The Crow Creek Sioux Tribe of South Dakota has removed three convicted felons from an upcoming ballot.

Vice Chairman Randy Shields, Treasurer Norman Thompson Sr. and Secretary Thomas Thompson Sr. were seeking re-election. But they all pleaded guilty in connection with a bribery, corruption and retaliation scheme.

The election takes place April 15.
