Judge allows woman's testimony in Aquash murder trial
A federal judge said a woman in her 80s can testify in the trial of a man accused of murdering American Indian Movement activist Anna Mae Pictou Aquash.

Theda Clarke was an active member of AIM in the 1970s. She participated in events leading up to Aquash's murder on the Pine Ridge Reservation in December 1975 but hasn't been charged in connection with the case.

Clarke will provide testimony against Richard Marshall, a member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe, who is accused of providing the gun that was used to murder Aquash. Jury selection was starting today.
