David Davis, Tonto Apache vice chairman, passes away
David “Kenny” Davis, the vice chairman of the Tonto Apache Tribe of Arizona, was found dead early Tuesday. He was 47.

Davis was the longest serving member of the tribal council. His was first elected when he was 18 years old.

“He was one of the most liked people on the reservation,” tribal controller Jerry Holland told The Payson Roundup “He had a kind heart and good personality. He was a very fair man.”

Davis apparently died of natural causes.
