Interior Secretary Ken Salazar isn't meeting with anyone prior to making a decision on a controversial wind farm in Massachusetts, a spokesperson said.

The Aquinnah Wampanoag Tribe asked for a meeting but was rebuffed. That prompted the tribe to hire attorneys to prepare a lawsuit in case Salazar approves the Cape Wind project.

The Aquinnah Wampanoag Tribe and the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe say 440-foot turbines that are part of the project will block their view of the sun and disrupt burial grounds and archaeological sites at Nantucket Sound. The Advisory Council on Historic Preservation supported the tribes in recommending the rejection of Cape Wind.

Salazar said will issue a decision by the end of the month.
