Snoqualmie Tribe keeps traditions alive with a new canoe
The Snoqualmie Tribe of Washington celebrated the completion of its first ocean-going canoe.

The Northern Dipper took six months of work. It will be used by a tribal family during this year's Canoe Journey.

The canoe differs from river and lake canoes because it will be able to sustain ocean waters.
