A jury in Montana acquitted a 17-year-old male in a hate crimes case. Allen Goff was charged with felony assault with a weapon. He was accused of shooting Christopher Ortiz, 17, after a confrontation at a house party in Billings. Goff was charged under the state's hate crimes law. White supremacist materials were found in his backpack when he was arrested but the jury was not allowed to see them. Goff claims to be part Native although his purported tribal affiliation has not been reported. The Montana Human Rights Network says he is one of the local leaders of The Creativity Movement, a white supremacist group. Get the Story:
