Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation sues law firm over failed loan
The Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation of Arizona says it lost out on millions of dollars due to bad work by the Steptoe & Johnson law firm.

The tribe relied on the firm to negotiate agreements for three loans. But the tribe says the firm changed the terms of the deal without consent.

As a result, the tribe says it lost out on at least $16 million. The lawsuit seeks damages for negligence, breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duty.
