Chickasaw Nation welcomes first baby born at new health center
The Chickasaw Nation of Oklahoma welcomed the first baby born at its new health facility.

The tribe moved into the $145 million Chickasaw Nation Medical Center earlier this month. Briar Lane Ross was born to Rheysa and James Ross just a couple of days later, at 4:36pm on August 3.

The 370,000 square-foot building includes an expanded women's health center.
