Long-running Indian public affairs television program cancelled
Inside Native America, the longest-running Indian public affairs television program in the nation, has been canceled.

George Tiger, a member of the Muscogee Nation, hosted the show for more than 30 years. His last broadcast is September 5.

“My whole emphasis on serving the role I did for so many years was that I used that show as an educational resource for non-Indians as well as Indian people," Tiger told The Native American Times.

Tiger said one of his most memorable interviews was with the late Mildred I. Cleghorn, the former chair of the Fort Sill Apache Tribe. She was born as a prisoner of war.
