Family of Native man who died in hospital waiting room plans suit
The family of a Native man who died after spending 34 hours in an emergency waiting room plans to file a lawsuit.

Brian Sinclair, 45, was from the Sagkeeng First Nation of Manitoba. He died of a blood infection that could have been prevented if he was treated earlier, Manitoba's chief medical examiner said in September 2008.

The government promised an inquest but one hasn't happened yet. In the meantime, Sinclair's family said it will sue the hospital, medical staff, the regional health authority and the province.
