Yavapai-Apache Nation reports record turnout in council election
The Yavapai-Apache Nation of Arizona held a general election on Saturday.

Tribal members elected David Kwail as chairman in what was reported to be a record turnout. Robert Jackson Sr. won the vice chairman spot.

Tanya Lewis-Moore and Dave Kinsey Jr. were also elected to the council.
