Five tribes in Oklahoma awarded $720K in environmental grants
Five tribes in Oklahoma have been awarded a total of $720,000 in grants from the Environmental Protection Agency.

The Miami Nation, the Modoc Tribe, the Seneca-Cayuga Tribe and the Wyandotte Nation each received $120,000. The Cherokee Nation received $240,000.

The tribes will use the money for various purposes, such as developing recycling programs and updating environmental codes.
