New Mexico tribe trying to find housing for hail storm victims
Kewa Pueblo in New Mexico is trying to find housing for 66 people after their homes suffered major damage in a hail storm.

The tribe has surveyed 404 of about 600 homes on the reservation. Ninety-five percent suffered damage during the October 2 storm.

"Ten percent are unlivable and 50 percent are considered major damage," Kenny Pin, the tribe's planning director, told The Albuquerque Journal.

New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson (D) signed a disaster declaration for the reservation but the tribe is accepting donations through the Kewa Relief Fund at Wells Fargo bank.
