The Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi opened a Head Start center on its reservation in Michigan.
The center is operated by the Inter-Tribal Council of Michigan. "We're looking to deliver services in a culturally friendly way," director Brian Chivis told The Battle Creek Enquirer.
The Inter-Tribal Council operates eight Head Start programs in the state.
