Chickasaw Nation is first in Oklahoma to utilize online WIC system
The Chickasaw Nation of Oklahoma has introduced an online card system for participants in the Women, Infants and Children Supplemental Nutrition Program.

The tribe is the first agency in the state to use the online benefit cards, which act like debit cards. The system eliminates paper vouchers, speeds up the checkout process and gives clients more flexibility in WIC.

The tribe developed the system in conjunction with J.P. Morgan and CSC.
