First Nations family renews push for inquiry into officer shooting
The family of a man who was shot to death on the Muskowekwan First Nation in Saskatchewan is renewing a call for a public inquiry.

Delbert Kenneth Pelletier, 44, was killed in November 2006 after a standoff with police. His family said the investigation was insufficient.

"To date, there has been no change and we need change, otherwise our brother died in vain," Melanie Fisher, Pelletier's sister-in-law, said in a statement to CBC News.

The family has raised $50,000 to hire an attorney to pursue the case.
