Taxpayer group releases information about First Nation salaries
The Canadian Taxpayers Federation released more information about salaries of First Nations leaders.

According to the group, 82 leaders make more money than Canada's Prime Minister. Another 222 make more than a premier and 704 take home at least $100,000 in salary.

"Now that we've got these numbers, we can see all kinds of examples where people are raking in just exorbitant salaries," Colin Craig told The Calgary Herald. "We are calling for reform . . . you can't have a politician from a community of 1,000 making more than the prime minister of Canada, that's just obscene."

Some lawmakers have filed a bill to force the disclosure of more salary information.
