Attorney General Holder addresses Indian Heritage Month event
Attorney General Eric Holder spoke at the Department of Justice’s American Indian Heritage Month event.

Holder said the department is committed to "strengthening the government-to-government relationship." "Today, I am pleased to report that our commitment remains strong and that we have made meaningful progress over the last year," he said, according to the remarks.

Holder said he will be working with Congress next year on the reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act.
