Yakama tobacco company says New York mayor 'hates' Indians
New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg "hates Native Americans" according to a tobacco manufacturing company on the Yakama Nation in Washington.

King Mountain Tobacco Company supplies cigarettes to at least one tribal smoke shop in New York. Bloomberg claims the company is failing to collect state taxes.

"Their argument really has no grounds,"Kamiakin Wheeler, who runs King Mountain Tobacco with his father, told The Yakima Herald Republic. "We have the right to freely travel and trade under our treaty."

Bloomberg recently came under fire for suggesting that tribes in his state be shown the "shotgun" on tax issues.
