Air Force base to return last of land to Oglala Sioux Tribe
Ellsworth Air Force Base in South Dakota is preparing to return land to the Oglala Sioux Tribe.

The federal government took land from the tribe for military activities during World War II. The last remaining piece is about four square miles that was used for bomb training.

In total, the military took 341,726 acres from the tribe.
