A girls soccer team from the Kahnawake First Nation in Quebec were taunted at a game off the reserve, parents said.

The girls said players from a rival team made featherhead gestures and called them savages. Some parents also joined in, according to Mohawk players and their parents.

Gregory Brass, whose daughter plays on the team, confronted the team and player after the game. He contacted the St. Hubert Soccer Association, which offered an apology.

"We're discussing possible retribution, because there are certain things you don't say or do," Daniel Myre, the association's vice-president, told The Montreal Gazette.
