Yakama Nation members stranded in Alabama in hopes of jobs
About 20 members of the Yakama Nation of Washington are stranded in Alabama after being lured by the promise of high-paying Gulf Coast jobs.

The group drove to the gulf after a man named Christino Rosado came to the reservation and promised $40 an hour to help clean up the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. But the jobs never materialized and the tribal members are stuck.

"We don't know what really to do right now -- some want to go home, some don't. Some still believe (the jobs will come through)," a 19-year-old tribal member, who didn't want to be identified, told The Yakima Herald-Republic.

Tribal leaders sent out an alert after learning about the apparent scam. The FBI is reportedly looking into the situation.
