The sister of Delando King, a member of the Navajo Nation who was killed in Washington, D.C., said the family is grateful someone has been arrested and charged with his murder.

"Many cases go without being solved and we are thankful for the closure," Jetta King told The Farmington Daily Times.

Delando, 35, worked for the Indian Health Service. He had lived in DC for the past six years.

"He was always a city person, and he loved to live in the city," Jetta told the paper. "He was happy."

Marcus McLean, 24, a DC resident, has been charged with first-degree murder while armed. Authorities say he stabbed King and poured bleach on his body before stealing his cell phone, credit cards and other possessions.
