Leader of First Nations organization resists calls to resign post

Guy Lonechild says he won't step down as chief of the Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations.

Lonechild was presented with a petition that seeks his ouster from the organization. Critics say he failed to disclose a drunken driving charge during the campaign for FSIN chief in October 2009.

Lonechild pleaded guilty and will be sentenced March 23.
