Energy company withdraws federal case against Crow Tribe

An energy company has withdrawn its lawsuit against the Crow Tribe of Montana.

Australian-American Energy Co. accused the tribe of trying to terminate an agreement for a $7 billion coal-to-liquids plant on the reservation. The tribe responded that the company was failing to live up to its end of the deal.

Both sides, however, reached an agreement, although details weren't reported. American Energy had filed suit in federal court in Delaware.
