Acoma Pueblo eyes disaster funds after flood hits reservation

Acoma Pueblo in New Mexico is seeking state and federal disaster funding after floods hit the reservation on Wednesday.

Ten homes were destroyed by two to three feet of water. An emergency shelter was set up for several families who were affected.

"It's more of an emotional loss as well as a spiritual loss to these homes and to these families," Secretary Daniel Lucero told KRQE-TV.
