Navajo school board leader failed to graduate from Dartmouth

The president of a pubilc school board on the Navajo Nation did not graduate from Dartmouth College as he has repeatedly claimed.

Central Consolidated School District Board President Matthew Tso, 33, said he earned a bachelor's degree in 2003. That's not the case, The Farmington Daily Times reported.

"Matthew Tso matriculated but did not graduate from Dartmouth College," a spokesperson told the paper.

Tso was recently arrested by tribal police for public intoxication. The Navajo Nation is a dry reservation.

Tso also has a criminal record in New Mexico state court.
