Spirit Lake man charged with attempted murder after fires

A man from the Spirit Lake Dakotah Nation in North Dakota faces assault and attempted murder charges after he allegedly started two fires off the reservation.

Lyndon Galen Greybear, 29, is accused of assaulting his cousin's two children, ages 4 and 6, at an apartment in Fargo. He allegedly started one fire there, with the children still inside.

Officers found Greybear at a different apartment, where he had allegedly started another fire. He's now charged with two counts of attempted murder, two counts of aggravated assault and one count of endangering by fire or explosion.
