Cherokee Nation attorney general back to work after leave

Cherokee Nation Attorney General Todd Hembree is back on the job.

Hembree took a leave of absence in early May after an investigation into "troubling" text message he sent. No wrongdoing was uncovered but Hembree said he would be seeking treatment for alcoholism.

Hembree declined to comment when contacted by The Cherokee Phoenix.
