Chumash Tribe funds $5K solar installation for local home

The Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians in California donated $5,000 for a solar installation at a local home.

The tribe worked with GRID Alternatives, a non-profit, to install the 1.6kw photovoltaic solar system for a single-family, low-income home.

The installation took two days.
