Rosebud Sioux Tribe looks to grow economy with new business

The Rosebud Sioux Tribe of South Dakota has launched a new business in a bid to strengthen its economy.

Sicangu Business Products will provide office supplies and other products, primarily to the tribal government and other tribal enterprises. But the firm will also seek opportunities everywhere.

"You know, we're open to business to everyone," Wizipan Little Elk, the CEO of the Rosebud Economic Development Corporation, told KSFY-TV.

The tribe spends about $3 million a year on office supplies, Little Elk said.
