Major storm leaves trail of damage in Alaska Native villages

Several Alaska Native villages are assessing the damage from a major storm along the Bering Sea coast.

News reports said Kotlik suffered the worst. The storm destroyed the village's water and sewer distribution system and numerous homes and structures have been flooded or damaged.

Unalakleet also suffered flooding. The water supply pipe has been damaged and a road washed out.

A second storm is expected this week.
