Crow Creek Sioux Tribe ends residence requirement for voting





The Crow Creek Sioux Tribe of South Dakota has eliminated a residency requirement for its elections.

Tribal members who don't live on the reservation are voting for the first time today. They are narrowing the field in a primary election.

The general election will take place in June.
