Quapaw Tribe sees tornado damage to homes and businesses

Members of the Quapaw Tribe of Oklahoma took shelter as a dangerous tornado touched ground on Sunday.

Chairman John Berrey said about 30 homes and some tribal buildings saw some damage. But no one was hurt as 200 people huddled together in a tribal shelter.

"You know we're just fortunate that there weren't more injuries and deaths here. Stuff can be replaced," Berrey told Four States Homepage.

The tornado hit Oklahoma and Kansas and caused damage, some injuries and one death.
