The Osage Nation of Oklahoma fired a police officer who was involved in a fatal accident.

Cory Stewart was off-duty when his police vehicle struck and killed 55-year-old Shawn Watashe on May 1. Watashe was a member of the Muscogee Nation and was Euchee, The Bigheart Times reported.
