The Seminole Tribe of Florida has a new leader.

Marcellus W. Osceola Jr., won a special election on Monday with 319 votes, according to news reports. James "Jim" Billie, who was removed from office in late September amid allegations of wrongdoing, came in second with 297 votes.

Osceola is expected to serve out the remainder of Billie's term, which is due to run until May 2019, WPLG reported.
