The Tulalip Tribes are making history in Washington. Women hold the majority of seats on the seven-member board of directors for the first time ever, The Everett Herald. And a woman is serving as chair for the first time in nearly 80 years. Marie Zackuse, who previously served as vice chair, was elected chair by her fellow board members at a meeting on Saturday, the paper reported. Other women on the board are: Teri Gobin, who is serving as vice chair; Theresa Sheldon, secretary; and Bonnie Juneau. Read More on the Story:
