RAPID CITY – The Great Plains Tribal Leaders Health Board has purchased the former City County Alcohol and Drug Program building at 725 N. Lacrosse St, from Pennington County.
The building will serve as a temporary location for some of its clinical services during the new Oyate Health Center facility construction. The health board also intends to expand behavioral health services at the new site.
As construction continues to occur on the Sioux San campus, the current building that houses the Oyate Health Center and neighboring buildings will soon be demolished in preparation for the new $100-million health clinic. The new facility will be three times as large as the current Oyate Health Center and will open in the spring of 2023.
