Maine tribe receives island

TUESDAY, MAY 14, 2002

A paper company is handing over a 25-acre island to the Passamaquoddy Tribe of Maine.

Domtar will transfer Gordon�s Island to the tribe during a ceremony next Tuesday. The island is home to an historic burial ground.
