Okla. tribe says land is Indian Country

The Apache Tribe of Oklahoma wants a federal judge to declare a parcel of land as Indian Country.

The move would prevent state officials from prosecuting patrons arrested at a bingo hall on the land in Oklahoma City. The state raided the facility recently, saying it was operating illegally.
